During this stage, users will learn the crucial skills needed to succeed. Young people will be engaged and, utilizing an interactive format, students will be encouraged to absorb every part of the Visionz curriculum.
In this stage, students will play interactive, engaging games and exercises so that what they've learned 'sticks'. These games will range from brain games, life-decision games, as well as interactive, VR scenario games
During this stage, users are tested to evaluate what they learned during the Visionz program through fun and engaging quizzes.
The curriculum provides instruction on resume writing, interviewing, career exploration, employability skills, entrepreneurial basics, as well as skills needed to obtain and retain a job.
Participants will learn the skills needed to be productive learners and earners in the workplace, while also seeing an increase in their motivation to learn and excel in the critical skills that will lead to them to becoming productive and self-sustaining adults.
This module was designed to help at-risk youth who are typically outside the financial mainstream learn the basic skills of handling their money and finances, including how to create a positive relationship with financial institutions.
Students will learn how to use social media responsibly; to prevent bullying, to protect privacy, to build advocacy, to share news, to promote their brand, to showcase themselves in a positive light and most importantly, to engage in civil discourse.
Advanced technology and software classes will give students the opportunity to engage in learning useful skills in both IT and creative.
Statistics show there is a strong correlation between an employee's soft skills and job success. 85 percent of success in getting a job, keeping a job, and moving up in an organization is due to people or "soft" skills; 15 percent is due to technical skills, or the knowledge required for a job.
According to HR professionals and corporate executives, these people or "soft" skills and emotional intelligence skills are lacking in today's college graduates. The good news is that these skills are much easier to learn than the technical skills it took years to learn.
